Traditional ruler commends Gov.  Buni on appointment of Chief of Staff

The appointment of Abdullahi Yusuf Gashua has received several accolades with the latest coming from  Alhaji Muhammadu Gagiyo, a prominent community leader in Yobe.
Gagiyo who  is the kinsman of  the new chief of staff   and holds the traditional title of 'Zanna Dujima' of Bade Emirate  told journalists in Damaturu that  the appointment of Abdullahi Yusuf as Chief of Staff  is a demonstration of the commitment of the government of Gov. Mai Mala Buni to competence and integrity.
According to him, competence is one of the key ingredients that the Gov. Mai Mala requires in his government to succeed and that he said the new Chief of Staff is an embodiment of it.

His words; "The appointment of Yusuf as Chief of Staff to the governor was a square peg in a square hole  indicating the commitment Gov. Mai Mala's  government to achieve the best for the state.

"Governor Buni has indicated interest to consolidate good governance and develop education, agriculture and  healthcare delivery among others.

" The governor is certainly in need of capable and competent hands to deliver dividends of democracy to the people and that is what Yusuf represents. He will bring his competence and integrity to bear on this government and make sure everything is properly conducted as far as this government is concern,"  he said.
The community leader also noted that "the wealth of experience of Abdullahi Yusuf will promote good governance and achieve the desired results in this government Isha Allah".

Gagiyo also used the opportunity to convey the gratitude of  Bade community to Gov. Mai Mala for the honor done to them by believing in their son with such a huge responsibility. he added that Bade and the entire Yobe will continue to pray for their son to always give the best advice to the governor so as to move Yobe State to the next level.
