... sends condolence to Katsina state, President Buhari
Yobe State Governor and National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress(APC), Alhaji Mai Mala Buni has described the death of Alhaji Ismaila Isa Funtua as a huge national loss to the nation.
The governor in a condolence message signed by his Director General Press and Media Affairs, Mamman Mohammed also said the death is a personal loss to President Mohammadu Buhari and the people and Government of Katsina State.
The statement quoted the governor as describing the late Funtua as, “a statesman who contributed immensely to national development, the economy and media industry”.
Gov. Buni noted that Late Funtua was a bridge builder of national unity and he will be greatly missed.
"He was a bridge builder with immeasurable contributions to national unity
" Nigeria will certainly miss his patriotic contributions, passionate and selfless services to the nation", the Governor said.
Governor Buni prayed Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatur Firdaus.
