More condemnation trail allege fake APC stakeholders list in Yobe

The alleged fake list of APC Stakeholders in circulation in Yobe State has received more condemnation within the leadership of the party and the political class in the state.

 Barely 24 hours after the State Secretary, Abubakar Bakabe came out to disown the list, the Special Adviser to Gov. Mai Mala Buni on Political and Legislative Matter, Hon. Aji Yerima Bularafa has also added his voice against the purported list. 

 The Special Adviser in a press statement titled: “FAKE AND MISCHIEVOUS STAKEHOLDERS LIST ON CIRCULATION ON SOCIAL MEDIA”, also disassociate his office and himself from the list. Hon. Bularafa regretted that some “mischief makers are hell bent to create confusion and disharmony among our APC supporter”. 

 He aligned with the party leadership over the measures they are taking to lunch an investigation into the matter and unmasked those behind the list and punish them accordingly. 

 Bellow is the full text of his statement:

 “The attention of the office of the Special Adviser on Political and Legislative Matters to the Executive Governor of Yobe State has been drawn on a purported and fake list of APC Stakeholders in the 17 LGAs of the State. 

"The office of the Special Adviser is not aware and has no connection with the fake and purported list of stakeholders in circulation on the social media which was mischievously posted by one or group of mischief makers who are hell bent to create confusion and disharmony among our APC supporters. “The office of the Special Adviser is hereby disassociating itself from this nefarious act and condemns this mischievous act in its totality. The office is therefore calling on all our teeming supporters of the APC across the 17 LGAs to disregard the fake and purported list going round on the social media outfits. 

 “The office of the Special Adviser is also happy to have seen the special press release issued and signed by the State Secretary of the APC Yobe State, Alh. Abubakar Bakabe disclaiming and condemning the fake list in circulation. He further reiterated that the State APC would take drastic action to fish out the unscrupulous elements involved in this nefarious and mischievous act with a view to face the wrap of the law no matter how highly placed the person or group of persons may be to serve as deterrent for others to emulate”, the statement reads.

ImpactOnlineNigeria reports that the party leadership in the state through the secretary yesterday equally issues a strong warning against those behind the list. 

The party has also planned to convene an Exco meeting where it will try to fish out those faceless people behind the list.
