The All Progressive Congress (APC), Yobe State Chapter have denied ownership of a stakeholders in circulation in the social media across the state.
ImpactonlineNigeria has also sighted in some social media handles including Facebook and many whatsup platforms operating in the state posting a some lists of APC stakeholders in the 17 Local Government Areas of the state.
But the State Secretary of the party Alhaji Abubakar Bakabe in a disclaimer he personally signed described the list as fake with an intention to cause confusion within the ranks of the party.
The party scribe called on the supporters of the party in the state to disregard the list as it did not emanate from the party leadership of the state but rather from a group of unscrupulous elements that the party is determined to fish out for punishment.
The Statement reads in full:
“The attention of Yobe State APC leadership has been drawn to a fake list of APC stakeholders names in all the 17 Local Governments of the state being circulated by unscrupulous and confused elements who wish to bring confusion in the entire APC family.
“The APC also wish to disclaim the list being circulated in the social media and also wish to inform its members to disregard that purported list as it did not emanate from Yobe State APC leadership.
“We wish to also assure you that the APC State leadership is on top of the situation as it intends to appropriately sanction anybody found to be involved in the creation and circulation of the said fake list”, the statement reads.
